Exploring the Suburbs of Lisbon

Wandering and climbing was the motif for today.  We went to Sao Jorge fort and climbed the ramparts and then set off to find Bike Zone in the northern suburbs.  This entailed finding WIFI at
Starbucks (first finding the Starbucks and wandering in a large loop planned by the GPS instead
of a more direct route) in order to find the address of the bike store.

Then it was off to the suburbs - last stop on the Metro within the local zone, then a 2k walk up
and down hills before finding that it wasn't as big a shop as expected.  Not allowed on the
bus because our cards were for local zone only, so a walk back to the local Metro.  Just in time
for evening rush hour.

We did find that the Sao Sebastiao stop was full of shops and eateries so we had supper there.

Note: Clicking a small photo opens them in a large separate window.

Now back in our hotel - pooped.

Oh yeah, and it's fun to sneak a peek at what the cat's are up to (sleeping or going to and from
sleeping) via remote video:

Tabitha is the black lump at far right.

Later,
Jim
